Pagsanjan Falls

Laguna offers plenty of natural attractions for tourists. The towns found on this province lure a lot of visitors with its beautiful sceneries and exhilarating adventures. Pagsanjan Falls is one of the most popular waterfalls in the Philippines which can be found in Laguna. Although commonly known as Pagsanjan Falls, its native name is Magdapio Falls.

The waterfall is located in the boundaries of Cavinti, Laguna and was proclaimed as a National Park on March 29, 1939. “Cavinti Falls” is also a name associated with Pagsanjan Falls. This is brought by the motion proposed by the governing body of Cavinti to rename the waterfall on February 10, 2009. It is also part of the Pagsanjan Gorge National Park, a protected area of 152 hectares of bodies of water comprised of several gorges.
